Introduction

Stickers are Yontara's internal currency. Children earn them by completing tasks and can spend them on rewards you define. This simple economy teaches budgeting, delayed gratification, and the value of work.

Understanding the Sticker Economy

How Kids Earn Stickers

Every task you create has a sticker reward. When your child completes the task and you approve it, stickers are automatically added to their balance.

Typical Sticker Values

  • Simple tasks (make bed): 1-2 stickers
  • Medium tasks (homework): 3-5 stickers
  • Big tasks (clean room): 5-10 stickers
  • Special tasks (help with project): 10+ stickers

Spending Stickers

In the reward shop, you create items with sticker prices. Kids browse the shop and purchase items they want. The purchase goes to your approval queue before stickers are deducted.

"When children manage their own 'currency', they naturally start making better decisions about how to spend their time and effort."

The Savings Lesson

Stickers accumulate over time. Encourage your kids to save for bigger rewards instead of spending immediately. This teaches the valuable skill of delayed gratification.
